Description

Discover the biggets cacti garden in Africa, more than 150 differentes species of cacti (among them the highest cacti of over 9 meters). Located 10 km from Marrakech on the road to Casa, a vast deserted land is home to a cactus farm of nearly 7 hectares. Since 1964, Mr. Hans Thiemann, a great cactus enthusiast, settled in Marrakech and succeeded in acclimatizing a little more than 150 different varieties of cactus of American origin, more precisely from Latin America. Today, you can discover his cactus collection at Cactus Thiemann. Thiemann visited the painter Jacques Majorelle in 1950 and brought back specimens from the Majorelle Garden. It is the most intagrammable garden in marrakech.
