Description
Set out on this enchanting walking journey through the bustling souks and the vibrant medina of Marrakech on a shopping journey blending rich history & culture, traditional craftsmanship. Begin your shopping adventure at the lively Djemaa el Fna square, where our journey starts. This is where you will meet your expert guide and begin your exploration. Here, you will get to know the layout of Medina, Marrakech's old city, and discover the main areas for shopping. Our first stop is Souk Semmarine, a busy market famous for selling lots of different things like traditional clothes and well-made leather items. You'll have the chance to talk closely with local craftsmen and learn about how they make their products. Next, we will walk through Riad Zitoun el Jdid. It's a place filled with old shops selling antiques, nice-smelling spices, and beautiful handmade rugs. You might find some really special souvenirs here, made by local artists. We will then head to Souk El Attarine, another important market known for selling spices, perfumes, and beauty products. You'll learn about the different ways Moroccans use these things and their cultural importance. After that, we will visit workshops where craftsmen make things like pottery, metal objects, and wooden items. You'll see firsthand the skills they use, which have been passed down through generations. Finally, we will finish our shopping trip at Souk El Kebir. This place is famous for selling luxurious carpets, stunning textiles, and intricate fabrics. You will have the chance to find and buy unique rugs or fabrics, ending our tour through Marrakech's lively markets and amazing handmade goods.Includes
