Description

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Marrakech in the morning and heads south through the Plains of Haouz towards Asni, which lies at the base of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive at the first stop of the day, an Argan oil cooperative, and learn about the fascinating process of producing Argan oil from start to finish. After your introduction to the world of Argan oil, the tour continues south, passing by the Kasbah Tamadot which was once part of the Virgin Empire and is now a luxury retreat. Arrive at the second stop of the day, Imlil village, and enjoy a 2-hour mountain trek through the surrounding landscapes with an expert guide. Alternatively, you can rent a mule for the trip. Along the way, marvel at stunning waterfalls and breathtaking views, as well as stopping by local Berber villages and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Trek towards the Kasbah du Toubkal next and enjoy some drinks at your own expense such as a refreshing mint tea. Sit back and relax as you admire some of the very best views the High Atlas Mountains have to offer, then head to a nearby Berber guest house to dine on a traditional Moroccan family meal. Finally, journey back to Marrakech with an expected arrival time of 6pm.
