Description

Embark on a day trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains. Hike through Toubkal National Park, and ascend to the Isk summit. Enjoy a picnic at the summit and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Marrakech or meet your guide outside of Argana Café at 9:00 am. Embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive into the heart of the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Imlil (1,740m), where your hiking adventure begins. From Imlil, hike through the beautiful Toubkal National Park, winding between pine and juniper trees as you ascend to the Isk summit (2,500m). The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views, including Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, and its neighboring summits. Enjoy sweeping views of Berber villages and valleys from the top—serene and awe-inspiring. At the summit, relax and have a picnic while soaking in the unforgettable scenery. Afterward, descend via a different trail, passing through the scenic Tidli Plateau, before returning to Imlil to meet your driver for the ride back to Marrakech. On your drive back to Marrakech, you will make a stop at a women's Argan cooperative, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional French mint tea, sample authentic Argan oil, and observe the traditional process of its production. You will be back in Marrakech at 6:00 PM
