Explore the Atlas Mountains on this two-day trip from Marrakech. Visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and cross the Draa Valley. Spend the night in a desert camp in Zagora, ride a camel in the Sahara, and enjoy a delicious dinner and breakfast. Depart Marrakech early in the morning and set off for the Atlas Mountains. Arrive at the ksar (fortified town) of Ait Ben Haddou, which is located along the old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Take photos of the city of Ait Ben Haddou, which served as the backdrop for films such as 'Lawrence of Arabia,' 'Bandits of Time,' 'Kundun,' 'The Mummy,' and many others. Find out why it was listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1989. Stop for lunch in a restaurant facing the Kasbah. Drive to Ouarzazate, home to movie studios, famous sandstone buildings, and desert landscapes. Take a ride through the awe-inspiring Anti-Atlas Mountains (Tizi N Tnifift), as well as the lush valleys of Agdz and the Draa Valley. Arrive in Zagora and climb onto a well-trained camel for a sunset ride through the desert. Stop at your campsite and enjoy a hearty dinner before sleeping like a local in an authentic Berber tent. Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise before having breakfast. Return by camel to Zagora, where you will meet your driver.
