Description

**Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil (1740m) - Tizi Mzik Pass (2479m) - Red Valley - Tamsoult Refuge (2550m)** After breakfast in Marrakech, you will be picked up and driven towards the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni. Enjoy the stunning views of the villages along the valley. Upon arrival in Imlil (65 km from Marrakech), you will meet your guide and muleteer before starting your trek. You'll climb to the Tizi Mzik Pass (2479m), where you'll be treated to spectacular views of the Imlil Valley and Toubkal Summit. Continue to Tamsoult, visiting the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m) through a juniper forest. Overnight stay at the refuge. The trek covers 11 km, with an ascent of 800m and a descent of 400m, taking about 5-6 hours. **Day 2: Tamsoult Refuge (2550m) - Aguelzim Pass (3650m) - Toubkal Refuge (3207m)** Today is a challenging day as you significantly increase the altitude of your trek. The day starts with a demanding ascent to the Aguelzim Pass at 3650m. Although the climb is long, it is progressive. Upon reaching the pass, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Toubkal Summit. Afterwards, descend towards the Toubkal Base Camp at 3207m. The trek covers 10 km, with an ascent of 1200m and a descent of 300m, taking about 6 hours. **Day 3: Toubkal Refuge (3207m) - Toubkal Summit (4167m) - Imlil (1740m) - Marrakech** Rise early for the ascent to Toubkal Summit (4167m). If the weather is clear, you will enjoy spectacular views over the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert. After reaching the summit, begin the long descent past the refuge and follow the well-worn path back to Imlil. This is a lengthy day of trekking, with 8-9 hours of walking, involving a 900m ascent followed by a nearly 2500m descent to Imlil. You will typically be dropped off in Marrakech around 5:00 PM. The trek from the refuge to the summit and back covers 4 km, with an ascent and descent of 980m, taking about 5 hours. The trek from the refuge to Imlil covers 4 hours with a descent of 1400m, taking another 5 hours.
