Description

Embark on a captivating 3-day guided tour from Marrakech to Fes, exploring Morocco's imperial cities and breathtaking desert landscapes. Day 1: Marrakech — Ait Ben Haddou — Dades Your journey begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for a guided walk through the village. After a leisurely lunch, continue northeast to Boumalne Dades via Ouarzazate. Enjoy the stunning sunset views along the Dades River and stop to admire the landscape before heading to a local Kasbah in Dades for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2: Dades — Merzouga Start your day with breakfast at your Kasbah before traveling along the famous Road of 1001 Kasbahs. Visit the oasis of Tinghir and take a peaceful walk along the river to Todgha Gorges. After some free time to enjoy the scenery, head to Merzouga for a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes, watching the mesmerizing sunset. Reach your desert camp nestled between the dunes, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars with local nomadic drumming. Spend the night in either a basic or luxury tent, depending on your choice, with modern amenities available in the luxury option. Day 3: Merzouga — Fes Rise early to watch the sunrise over the desert before breakfast. Travel along the Ziz River, passing palm oases and ancient ksours (fortified castles), before stopping for lunch in Midelt. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Erfoud, famous for its fossils, and experience a dramatic change in landscape, from arid desert to lush, green cedar forests. Arrive in Fes by evening, where your driver will take you to your riad or hotel.
