Description

Taking a day to explore the stunning scenery of the Atlas Mountains is a highlight of any trip to Marrakech. You get to see how different life is in the villages of the valleys and what a truly beautiful country Morocco is. picked up from your hotel in Marrakech at 9 o’clock in the morning. From here it is a 1.5 hour drive to Imlil (1740 meters). In Imlil you start a walk with the guide to Aremd village (1900 meters). On the way you will be able to see traditional Berber villages and and see the highest peak in the North of Africa, Jbel Toubkal (4167 meters) after you visit waterfall. In winter Toubkal will be covered with snow and it will be a beautiful sight to see in the distance. After about 1 – 1.5 hours you will go to a local guesthouse to have a wonderful lunch. From here you will have a beautiful view of the Mizane Valley. After lunch it will be a 30 minute walk back to Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech by the same route as you came to Imlil.
